Pricing:  There is no sales tax on orders shipped outside of NJ.  We ship via UPS and only charge you for the actual shipping cost.  The prices that you see in parentheses next to the large ticket items is the shipping Meade charges weather a dealer buys the item or the public buys the item.  We only add this charge to the large (heavy) items.   We think that is the best deal you will find.  We hope you will enjoy doing business with us.

About Swift:
Swift's drive for optical excellence began several years after the company's founding in 1926 by Mr. Robert W. Swift, Sr., when the first roof prism binoculars were imported from Germany. Steady growth continued through 1939 as telescopes, specialty optics, field glasses, riflescopes and weather instruments were added to the line. During World War II, Swift manufactured weather instruments, specialty magnifiers, and pressure gauges for the war effort.  
An American owned, family owned company with our international headquarters in Boston, and our purchasing and quality control office in Tokyo, we now export to most of the countries of the world.
